Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SmartIdeas, the business ideas database available at smartideasdatabase.com (“the Service”), operated by EduFactory s.r.o. (“we”, “us”, “the Company”). By creating an account or purchasing access, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What SmartIdeas is

SmartIdeas is an information product: a curated, researched database of business ideas, each presented with estimated startup cost, profit potential, competition level and other market research. We provide research and information, not financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and not a guarantee of any business outcome.

3. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address to create an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. One account is for one person; sharing paid account access with others is not permitted.

4. Payments and access

• Full database access is sold as a one-time payment, not a recurring subscription — you pay once and keep access.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Prices are shown in USD and may change at any time for future purchases; a change in price never affects access you have already purchased.
• The “Done-For-You” plan additionally includes manual fulfillment work performed by our team, delivered within the timeframe communicated to you at purchase.

5. Refunds

Because SmartIdeas is a digital product that grants immediate access to the full database, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been unlocked. If you believe you were charged in error, or have not accessed the database, contact info@smartideasdatabase.com within 14 days of purchase and we will review your request. This does not affect any statutory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, republish or redistribute database content, screenshots, or exports to anyone without an active paid account.
• Scrape, bulk-download or use automated tools to extract content from the Service.
• Attempt to bypass the paywall, access controls, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Intellectual property

All content in the database — idea write-ups, research, ratings, scores, design and branding — is owned by EduFactory s.r.o. or its licensors. Purchasing access grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own business planning. It does not transfer ownership or grant a license to resell or republish the content.

8. No guarantee of results

Business ideas, cost estimates and profit potential figures in the database are estimates based on research and are provided for informational purposes only. Actual results depend on many factors outside our control (your market, execution, capital, local regulation, and more). We do not guarantee that any idea will be profitable or successful for you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduFactory s.r.o. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including business losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
